Greetings!

I spent several years traveling to and from Hawaii, and got to love the music quite a lot, especially the contemporary styles of the last 30 years such as Jawaiian and Paniolo. Some of my favorites are Keali'i Reichel, John Cruz, and Kolea.

If you haven't heard it, there is a great internet radio site for a wide variety of the new and old music http://www.voiceofhawaii.org ... http://www.hawaiian105.com is pretty nice too.

I'd also like to know if anyone here knows a lot of the music out there, because I'd love to find the names of some songs I've heard (but couldn't figure out the titles) and buy them. Also if you have any other recommendations of other music forums for da kine, that would be great too. Thanks and enjoy!

Nightclubs/Lounges in Honolulu

My boyfriend and I will be visiting Honolulu next month. We're both music lovers, mainly electronic (techno, house, dnb, idm, lounge, chillout) reggae, indie rock and some hip-hop. We're kind of all over the spectrum with our tastes. Mainly, we're looking for a nice chill place to relax and listen to some decent music and maybe a little dancing.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

We're staying at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

TIA!
